Digital Excavation is a sculptural installation consisting of ceramic shapes and printed images “mined” from the making of the video project I N T E R V A L S.

After developing Intervals, I ended up with dozens of green screen snippets and hundreds of video stills which I was not going to use in the final publication. As I dig into the process, I unearth two rejected elements and place them on a pedestal with the intention to bring attention to the making.
