Be to continued is a two-hour long performative installation where I enact the stages of making an artwork from beginning to end, while allowing the public to “sneak a peek” through a number of wall openings.
This project explores the relation between artist, artistic process and public and at the same time the relation between artwork and space. The title Be to continued is a rearrangement of the well-known phrase “To be continued”. Its aim is to emphasize the fact that an artwork is only a halt in constant creative evolution.
